Additionally, for the selection process, the institute considers I.CAT (ISHM Common Aptitude Test) scores. This is an in-house online entrance test conducted by the institute. Both the mentioned open universities can be compared based on their course fees, degree value, students reviews, curriculum, etc. In fee comparison, NSOU BA (H) course is cheaper with tuition fees of INR 9,900, while BA (H) at Odisha State Open University is INR 11,700. IISER Kolkata cutoff 2024 was based on IISER Entrance exam. The cutoff was released for admission to BS specialisations. Among the General AI category candidates, the last round closing ranks for all the BE specialistions were 1801.

To get admission in NINS Kolkata, students need to fulfil the admission criteria. Newtown Institute of Nursing Science offers entrance-based admission to BSc. Further, merit-based admission to GNM. To be eligible for admission candidates, must fulfill the eligibility criteria to get admission.
