Good college but to get admission in it we have to clear JECA entrance exam.

Placements: Most of the students are going for higher studies, which are in the professor field and the rest are going into the IT sector. Till now, the college has provided some good packages. Students are getting internships at Yahoo and many other top companies.

Infrastructure: The facilities available are good and the infrastructure is also good. We get a lab that has access to Wi-Fi and the quality of the lab is good. Hostel facilities are also good, as they provide us with good food. We can register ourselves in the sports section and take any of the sports as our priority and our sports teacher will guide us on that. Canteen food is good because they provide food like home, which is less oily.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and will guide us through the course. They are qualified and have good knowledge regarding the particular subject. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant and will make us industry-ready. If we read properly and are attentive during class hours, we will score a good percentage.

I've realized one thing: life starts outside the university GATE. Till then, let's enjoy.

Placements: There are no on-campus placement opportunities, but yes, the faculty provide us with some internship information. Mostly everyone went for off-campus placement, and almost everyone got well settled because the university focuses on building our skills more perfectly than any random person sitting in the interview room.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good. The classrooms, labs, library are fully Wi-Fi and have central AC facilities. There are more than 8 hostels for boys, and hostel facilities are also available for girls. There are lots of playgrounds within our campus, a gym, swimming pool, badminton, tennis, and kho, etc.

Faculty: As I mentioned earlier, the faculty focuses on building our skills more perfectly from the beginning. They are just outstanding except for one or two. And yes, the course curriculum made us ready for placement and for further studies. The semester is not that much different from an IIT, but yes, it is difficult, and the faculty wants everyone to pass.

Other: I have chosen this course because I want to go for further studies after BCA, and after MCA, I'll be an engineer, so yes. If on-campus placement opportunities happen, it would be helpful. Our university has lots of departments, and every department has its individual fest, and our Engineering department has a fest called VOYAGE.

Experienced and qualified teachers are available.

Placements: In our college, 60% of students get placements every year. In our college, from the 3rd semester, students start getting placement opportunities. Top recruiting companies in our course were TCS, Infosys, Flipkart, Wipro, etc. At the college, the average placement package offered in our course was between 3-6 LPA. Top roles offered in our course were Software developers, Web developers, etc.

Infrastructure: College has a very good infrastructure. College has various facilities like Wi-Fi, hostel, canteen, sports complex, library, labs, etc. Our course department was well managed. Hostel facility was also available in our college. Hostel rooms were fully furnished and food at the mess was good to eat.

Faculty: All the teachers of our college were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teachers were guiding us the proper path. Teachers were fully supportive and helpful to the students. Course curriculum of the college was relevant. This course was making students industry-ready. Semester exams were not that difficult to pass.

Review of University of Kalyani.

Placements: There are no placements in 3 years, and there is no permanent TPO post of the university. The previous TPO was the head of Bengal department. The college conducts workshops, but workshops and seminars don't provide jobs. I suggest that if you have the interest to go for the research purpose after PG, then go for it.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is okay, but the college should provide more classrooms, labs, and most importantly a common room. The hostel is horrible with facilities, food, but the environment is good, which helps people to forget all the odds. However, I like my hostel, and it had taught me a lot, which was the best thing for me in Kalyani.

Faculty: Some teachers are extremely good, but some are just not useful. The course curriculum didn't make students industry-ready previously, but recently the college made some actions like it added extra classes on CS 50 certification, which is quite helpful. I am thankful to our current HOD, Debabrata Acharya Da.

Other: I chose this course basically because of my financial situation as I couldn't afford in any other colleges. I wish that the college should conduct campusing frequently, and they should teach industry-related things and research type if students need to get placed. I think the department needs more infrastructure. Events, fest, hostel and reunions are the most refreshing things conducted here to enjoy.

I am happy to study over here, but disappointed due to placements.

Placements: There are 0% campus placements. The university is not interested in placements. The campus placement drive should be started, don't know why they don't call any company. Why the authority doesn't take action for our placements. I just want to say, please provide us campus placements. Even if 1 or 2 companies come here, it's satisfactory.

Infrastructure: We have got a very good infrastructure, and our classrooms and labs are very good. The medical facilities are also provided, that's good, and we have got blazing fast internet access with Wi-Fi in all over our university. The canteen is also well maintained. I am very happy with our university environment. We have a yearly fest, and every department conducts a programme yearly. Every hostel conducts a yearly programme.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, they are highly qualified and knowledgeable of technology. The teaching is done with the help of slides by a projector. We have nearly 100 students and have 6 faculty members in our department. We have no industrial exposure.

University does not officially conduct dedicated campus placement drives specifically for MCA students. Many current and past students report that there is no structured placement cell or regular on-campus recruitment for MCA — especially compared to engineering or large tech colleges.
