To be accepted for doctoral (PhD) studies at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, all interested applicants must meet the general entry requirements and any special requirements outlined in the position announcement. KTH Royal Institute offers only one bachelor’s course in Information and Communication Technology, 180 ECTS, with English as the language of instruction and thus, to be eligible for this programme, students must meet the following generic requirements:

  • Students must complete their upper secondary education with documented proficiency in English.

Yes, KTH Royal Institute of Technology does offer student exchange programs and welcomes students from around 200 exchange partner universities worldwide to study over 1,000 master's level courses in English. Each year KTH welcomes 1,000 exchange students from all over the world.
