If a candidate has already been allotted a seat ion Round 1 and paid the token fee through the ACPC payment gateway, that amount is automatically transferred internally if they get upgraded or choose a different branch during the Round 2 reshuffling. Candidates do not need to make a fresh online payment unless there is a different shift in institute.

The initial online centralised registration process through ACPC Gujarat for LMCP MPharm closed on May 30, 2026. However, the admission cycle remains highly active. For non-GPAT candidates who registered the state-level Gujarat PGCET, the exam is typically held in late June or early July. Candidates who have already submitted their applications should keep tracking the official ACPC website for the declaration of the provisional merit list and subsequent choice-filling counselling rounds in July.

No, to participate in the centralized ACPC counselling process for LMPC MPharm, meeting the basic academic criteria is mandatory. General category candidates must have a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (50% for reserved category candidates) in their BPharm degree from a PCI-approved institute, regardless of their national GPAT score.

Statistically, it is extremely difficult. Because GPAT-qualified candidates are granted absolute preference and occupy the top of the provisional merit list, high-demand branches like Pharmaceutics and Pharma Technology are usually filled completely by GPAT rankers during Round 1. Non-GPAT candidates via the Gujarat PGCET generally get access to remaining choices or branches where vacancies are available.

LM College MPharm programme is strictly based on entrance exam scores. The institute give first preference to candidates who have cleared the national-level GPAT. During the centralised ACPC counselling process, all specialised postgraduate seats are initially allocated to these GPAT-qualified applicants. For candidates who have not appeared for the national exam, the state-level Gujarat PGCET serves as the alternative pathway. These state-level scores used by the admission committee in later rounds to fill any seats that remain vacant after all eligible GPAT candidates have been accommodated.

No, the Gujarat PGCET is not more difficult than GPAT exam. GPAT is highly competitive national-level entrance exam that test deep analytical, conceptual and multi-statement problems. On the other hand, the Gujarat PGCET is a state-level exam that primarily include direct, memory-based, and straightforward multiple-choice questions based directly on standard BPharm textbooks. If candidates have prepared well for GPAT, they will generally find the Gujarat PGCET paper much easier.

The official LM College of Pharmacy MPharm cutoff trends are released online by ACPC Gujarat rather than college itself. To check the 2026 cutoffs, candidates need to visit the official ACPC portal after the counselling rounds begin. ACPC uploads the course-wise and category-wise opening and closing ranks as downloadable PDG documents under the MPharm section. The actual 2026 cutoffs will release right after the Round 1 allotment results are announced in late July, allowing candidates to see the exact ranks accepted for specialisations.
