Yes, You must have completed a full-time Diploma engineering course or an equivalent degree from a recognized institute approved by the Government of India. As per, the eligibility criteria to seek admission in B.Tech (lateral entry) is Pass with 60% in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) (3yrs. After 10th or 2 years after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. Hi. Graduate students from nursing and dental backgrounds will get lateral entry into MBBS courses, if suggestions made in the draft National Education Policy 2019 are accepted by the government. Hi Keshav Kumar, Diploma students can apply for lateral admission in B.Tech, only if they have all the marksheets of Diploma with pass in all subjects with minimum 60% marks. For B.Tech Computer Science Engineering, requirement is pass in all subjects with minimum 70% marks.
