yeah sure you can take. amity university has lateral entry provision for any branch to be honest so you can do that even for metalllurgy.

the number of seats available in lateral entry in "computer science and engineering" at MSRUAS is roughly around 20 as per the previous year though this year it might increase.

Candidates must be holding graduation degree i.e. BCA/B.Sc (Hons.) Candidates must have studied Mathematics or Statistics or equivalent subject during graduation degree. General category candidates need to score at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA score in aggregate of all subjects. The Eligibility for this Course is, one has to complete his/her Bachelor's degree with Mathematics with least 55% aggregate marks. A Candidate can also apply for NIT MCA Common Entrance Test, a National Level Test which is conducted by NITs for admission in to their MCA programme. Hello,
Please check the eligibility criteria
Eligibility criteria: Candidates with at least 55% marks overall in: 3-years Diploma in Marine/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Or 4-years Diploma in Shipbuilding Engineering from any Institute approved by AICTE or State Board of Technical Education.
And a minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th/12th/Diploma Examination. The candidate should have completed the diploma within its stipulated duration of 3 years

Educational Qualifications required for B.Tech Lateral Entry:
If you are planning to apply for B.Tech LE then you must have successfully completed a 3 year (most colleges only accept full-time Diploma) Diploma in engineering. Most of the engineering colleges in India require a 60% aggregate in 3-year Diploma (Engineering any stream) after class 10 board exam. Yes, Lateral entry is possible in Amity University-Mumbai. They offer the student to transfer into the Third and Fifth Semester of its programs.
The Eligibility is criteria for lateral entry are- Programs of 2 years and 3 years duration Lateral Entry in 3rd SemesterPrograms of 4 years & more Lateral Entry in 3rd or 5th Semester

Yes, you can. But, all colleges do not permit the provision of lateral entry. So, apply to those which offer you a lateral entry and enjoy. Best of luck.

Hello,
Yes, you can easily get into Ganga Institute Of Technology And Management for MCA lateral entry after you have completed your BCA. It is a two years fill time on campus course. There are total 12 seats and the total fees for two years is Rs. 97,200.
