Yes, students can get direct/ lateral admission in second year of B.E. To apply, students have to meet the basic eligibility. The requirements are as below:
- Diploma in Engineering and Technology with a minimum of 45% (40% for reserved category) from recognised institution/ board
- OR BSc degree with Mathematics as a subject in Class 12 with a minimum of 45% (40% for reserved category) from recognised institution/ board

Yes, students can get lateral admission at IIFA Lancaster Institute of Design. The institute offers admissions through Advanced Standing/ APL. Those who have substantial professional or technical experience can apply. Students have to submit APEL application form and SOP and other documents including a portfolio link. The APL admission panel will evaluate the form and call the shortlisted students for interview.

The BTech fees for lateral entry courses at CGC Landran is INR 5.04 lakh. This fees will be charged from candidates on per annum basis in three instalments. However, candidates can choose to pay this fees in six instalments as well. The yearly fees for the BTech lateral entry courses is INR 1.68 lakh.

Yes, there is a preference order for Birla Technical Training Institute lateral admissions into the second year. The order is as below:
1. Class 12 with Vocational/ Technical Subjects
2. Class 10 + 2 yea ITI in Engineering Trades with appropriate specialisation

Birla Technical Training Institute offers only limited seats for second year direct admissions. These are offered through merit + counselling basis. The Birla Technical Training Institute seat intake is as below:

Yes, lateral admissions in BTech are allowed in the second year. Admission will be based on merit. You must have passed 10+2 exam or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Math. The entrance form will be available on the official website.

However, there is no mention of the eligibility criteria for lateral admissions into the PGDM course at PBS.
