If you want to go to Australia for your further studies then only 1 year of gap is considered after studies. Suppose you have completed your education be its Higher secondary or Bachelors in 2016 June, then you are eligible to apply till 2017 fall intake (September) afterward your application wont be accepted.
But yes if you have relevant work experience in between with salary proofs then that is not considered as a gap.
So, it is always advised to the students if you are planning for studying in Australia then please start your application time to avoid visa rejections.

There is no entrance exam. Admission is based on the marks you have scored in Diploma.

It varies every year. General wise, average 30-40 seats per year subject to increase. Contact college authority to know more.

A lot of colleges provide lateral entry. Government colleges as well as the private colleges accept lateral entry. Eg GGSIPU, Galgotias, Amity, LPU, etc. Almost all of the college provide lateral entry.
