Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonepat (DBRANLU) was established by the State Government of Haryana in the year 2012.The University has its own space wherein the campus is coming up withhigh-speedcurrently is under construction is situated in the education hub of India – Rajiv Gandhi Educational City, Rai, Sonepat – where more than thirteen renowned educational institutions and universities are located and are functional. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonepat is the only Law University in Haryana.
The university is presently offering B.A LL.B ( Hons.) with 120 seats.

In 2017, the last candidate admitted to be a BBA LL.B. Programme secured 60 percentile student securing ISAT India score up to 59.99% could not receive any offer of admission so the deadline is 60%. For 2018 any Aspiring law students must aim to secure a minimum 75 percentile to be on the safe side or above in ISAT exam to receive an admission offer. There were over 3500 students with ISAT India score below 60 percentile who could not get an admission offer.
