NUS is ranked among top 10 institutions in Singapore and Asia for law programs by some top international ranking bodies. According to data by institute's official website, institute is ranked #1 in Asia and #8 in world by QS World Rankings of 2025.

The Monash Law School ranks #4 in Australia & #39 globally as part of the Shiksha Popularity Rankings & Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Law Ranking 2025, respectively.

Only The University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney), University of Melbourne, & the Australian National University (ANU) rank above Monash Law in Australia.

NLUs are some of the top Law colleges in India so without doubt students should opt for NLU in comparison to other colleges. But since the lower ranked NLUs are not so good in comparison to other NLUs in aspects like facilities, opportunities, etc. students can choose for colleges under Calcutta University.

Well, the answer will be 50:50.Because at this rank, you will not able to get into NLU but you can get into NLU Assam through state Domicle reservation, but it totally depends how many candidates from Assam secure higher rank than you and opted NLU Assam. You must participate in counselling session you might be able to get admission in NLU Assam or has a vacant seat.
