Yes, entrance is mandatory for admission in law courses at MNLU Mumbai. MNLU Mumbai admissions for law are entrance based. The college accepts CLAT for admission in law courses. The selection is based on CLAT scores followed by counselling process.

The application process for BA LLB and LLM is done via CLAT, the process is given below:
- Register for CLAT and pay CLAT application fees.
- Sit for the CLAT entrance exam.
- After meeting the cut off for CLAT, register for the counselling process. Candidates should provide a minimum of 15 preferences for UG and minimum of five preferences for PG. You can provide more preferences also.
- Complete the payment of the Counselling Registration Fee.
