Eligibility criteria for LLM programme offered by Central University of Kerala - Thiruvalla Campus:

Candidate must have completed three-year/five-year regular L.L.B. Degree (studied in 10+2+3+3/10+2+5 system) with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute.

The upper age limit for admission is 32 years as on first day of July in the year of admission for General category candidates and 35 years for those in the Reserved category candidates.

Entrance Test- Eligible candidates need to appear for the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) conducted by the university

CUK offers a 2 years Master of Law (LL.M.) course at the PG level. The total tuition fee for this course is INR 19320 for entire duration of the course. Apart from the tuition fee, students are also required to pay hostel fee of INR 16840 and an one-time admission fee of INR 5530.

According to Central University of Kerala NIRF report 2024, the median package offered during Central University of Kerala PG 2-year placements 2023 stood at INR 3.26 LPA.

As per the report, 234 PG (2-year) students were placed during the 2022 drive. The median package offered to PG (2-year) students during the Central University of Kerala placements 2022 was INR 4.80 LPA.

No, without CUET -PG you cannot take addmission in the Central University of Kerala - Thiruvalla Campus.

This university requires CUET -PG  score for all the post graduate exam of university including the LLM. You must have more than 50% in the CUET PG exam for the LLM course in Central univerisity of the Kerala.

To get addmission in the Central University of Kerala - Thiruvalla Campus for LLM programme:

1 You must pass CUET -PG Exam that is held in month of march. You can register for this exam on official website.

2  After passing in CUET-PG Exam you must do online registration in the Central University of Kerala official website.

 3 If you are selected, then you have appear in interview and after that you can get addmission in the LLM Program of Central University of Kerala

No, there is no direct admission process for Central University of Kerela. Admission process is based on the entrance exam CUET- Post Graduate Course. Candidate must have passed in CUET-PG course and reserve a seat for their LLM programme. Candidates must have completed their LLB with good percentile.

The university provides LLB (Hons) with specialisation in Business Law, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law and International Law. The curriculum delivers intensive knowledge and training in legal subjects. Students gain practical skills through Moot Court exercises, Clinical work, Client interviewing & Counseling, Practical sessions in Procedural laws, lectures in Substantive laws, etc.

The total fee of LLB (Hons) is INR 1.4 lakh. Candidates are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Candidates will also require to pay a registration fee to apply for admission. This fee is as per the university official brochure.

The selection to LLB (Hons) course is based on LSAT India score. Candidates who do not hold LSAT India score can apply for aptitude test conducted by the university. Further, shortlisted aspirants need to attend PI round conducted by the university. The university releases a merit list announcing the names of the shortlisted candidates. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling. Selected aspirants need to pay a fee to confirm their admission.
