The university law school has a total seat intake of 30 for the LLB programme. UPES School of Law allot seats to the candidates on the basis of their performance in CUET exam and may consider academic performance as well. The AILET merit lists 2025 will contain the following details:

  • Candidate's Application number
  • Roll number/Admit Card Number
  • Vertical/Horizontal Reservation-related information
  • All India rank

The three-year LLB programme is divided into six semesters. Each of the academic year is divided into two semesters. Topics covered in the course are related to legislative law. Some of the subjects covered in the UPES School of Law LLB course curriculum are:

NLU Delhi will release the AILET question paper as a separate document from the AILET answer key. However, both documents will be released on the same date and at the same time. The university will publish the AILET question paper and answer key within 24 hours of the exam's completion. Using the question paper and answer key, candidates could check the correct answers for each question and predict their exam scores.

The total course fee is inclusive of multiple components, such as hostel fee, caution deposit, tuition fee, etc. Some of these components are one-time payabale, while some have to be paid annually/semesterly. UPES School of Law LLB tuition fee is INR 12.73 lakh and the hostel fee is INR 5.32 lakh. This fee is as per the official website/sanctioning body. AILET used to be a very tough entrance exam before 2023 due to its short duration of 90 minutes. However, NLU Delhi increased the duration of the exam from 90 minutes to 120 minutes after the AILET 2024 exam. The extended duration made it slightly easier for candidates to solve 150 questions in 120 minutes for the AILET UG exam. As a result, the AILET difficulty level has decreased over time with the increase in exam duration.
