Dear Priyanka, see minimum mandatory requirements are just put to filter out the applicants from large numbers. However, often administration or board does further selection from an application on the basis of other criteria and gives points accordingly to invite a candidate for the interview. This may be the case with you also and after their further filtering, your application might not come under the shortlist.

Requirement for a librarian vary from organisation to organisation. One can pursue certification, Diploma, B. Lib, M. lib or even Ph.D. in library Science. Higher the qualification more are the chances. B. Lib is generally required for a librarian position. People with B. lib / M. lib and good knowledge of IT can get a good job in private and government sector like schools, universities, government research centre or private firms. Best wishes.
