Linkoping University

International students have to meet the Linkoping University requirements for admission in undergraduate and graduate programs. We have mentioned below the general admission requirements for students:

Requirements for Bachelor’s Admissions

·      Complete your upper secondary (high school) education (post-16)

·      Demonstrate proficiency in English

·      Also meet programme specific entry requirements in addition to the general requirements

Requirements for Master’s Admissions

·      A bachelor’s degree equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen in a relevant discipline

·      At least 24 ECTS credits in mathematics/applied mathematics and/or application of mathematics relevant for the programme including courses in discrete mathematics, linear algebra and calculus.

·      English corresponding to the level of English in Swedish upper secondary education (English 6). Exemption from Swedish.

Long Island University comprises of five beautiful as well as vibrant campuses, which are home to 700 international students from countries around the globe. Addressed as the first campus of the university, LIU Brooklyn includes nine academic buildings, an athletic and a recreation complex that features athletic fields, an adjoining parking facility and one on-site and two off-campus residential buildings. It also houses LIU Pharmacy, the university's the oldest school, founded in 1891. Further, the campus offers LIU Global, which is a four-year undergraduate degree programme that provides students with the opportunity to live and study in eight different countries across eight semesters. LIU Brooklyn is also home to Kumble Theater and the NCAA Division I Blackbirds. Located in Brookville,  LIU Post is the university's second and the largest campus. LIU has four other campuses; one in Brentwood, one in Riverhead and two in Hudson in Westchester and Rockland countires.

Long Island University accepts applications through the Common Application and admits students through two intake seasons, ie; Fall & Spring. While applying to LIU, graduate students are required to send the following documents:

• Completed online application along with $50 = INR 4,162* application fee;
• Transcripts from all colleges and universities attended and proof of degree of anticipated degree;
• Proof of English language proficiency testing (IELTS/TOEFL/PTE/Duolingo);
• SAT/ACT scores;
• Resume/CV;
• Two letters of recommendation; and
• GMAT/GRE scores (if applicable).
