Admission to the LLM programme at GNLU is provided through merit and reservation policies, respectively. The intake of the total number of seats is filled through the CLAT PG exam, which admits candidates in order of merit. In the allocation process, it will include reservations to make sure there is representation from different sections of society. Candidates who get above the cutoff marks in the selection process are invited for counselling when the exam results are out, at which point candidates will fill up their choice of institutions according to their rank.

The LLM course fee at both the universities is almost the same. NLU Shimla LLM tuition fee is INR 1.2 lakh. While the course tuition fee of NLU Delhi is INR 1.4 lakh. Hence, candidates can consider getting in either of the universities, if compared based on course tuition fee. It is also informed that the fee mentioned here is taken from the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.
