If you are someone who can manage both of these things well, then part-time work can help a lot especially when the cost of living is high. Yes, Indian students can work part-time along with their studies. They are allowed to work for maximum of 20 hours per week as long as the course requirements aren't affected.

Students can either opt for the KCL residence halls or seek off campus accommodation, near the campus, with King's Cross, Central London & Shoreditch some popular areas to live as part of for international students.
While Shoreditch is known for its vibrant streets & nightlife, Central London offers a closer proximity to the campus & all of London's facilities.
King's Cross offers a good mix of student housing & amenities.
