Yes. Admission to California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA) can be very tough in terms of competitiveness.

CSULA has specific admission requirements that applicants must meet. These typically include completing the required high school coursework with a satisfactory GPA, submitting standardized test scores (SAT or ACT), and providing official transcripts.

Hi Sanjay,The requirements are as follows:
Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field with a GPA of 3.0 or better. A promising applicant with a GPA below 3.0 may be admitted as a special action student. This is stated on their website so just check the department site for details. Here is the URL
http://www.calstatela.edu/ecst/cs/admission
A GPA 3.0 indicates 80% and above marks, but you should get it clarified with the university.

HI Nitish Choudhury,
You have to clearly mention which program you want to apply to for a general overview, Bachelor's or Master's? Or you can check the respective program website on the university's website.
