With an MFA from UCLA, graduates can follow divergent career paths. Visual Artists can create and exhibit their work; Art Professors can teach in colleges or universities, Curators manage collections of art in galleries and museums.

Their training may lead graduates to Art Director positions in advertising or work as Graphic Designers, applying the principles of visual communication. Those specializing in writing may serve as Authors, Screenwriters, or Editors in literature, film, and media.
