All those students who have completed all of their secondary school in a country where English is not the language of instruction, as well as students who have had less than 3 years of instruction in English, shall need to demonstrate English Proficiency. UCLA University looks for a competitive score above 100 in TOEFL, 7 or above on the IELTS, or a 120 or higher in the Duolingo English Test.

All the applications are reviewed holistically on the basis of the criteria approved by the faculty through comprehensive review including grades, curriculum, activities / leadership / involvement etc. Apart from this, it is necessary to have English language proficiency scores of Duolingo / TOEFL / IELTS.

Applicants are suggested to submit all the documents by the deadline to avoid the last-minute hassle. The University does a holistic review of every application form, so students should be careful and submit all the documents within the time.
