Yes, one can apply for admission to Lovely Professional University 2026. As per the official admission page of LPU, the admission process of this university has started with the academic year 2026 and candidates can fill out the form online to apply for the admission.

It is very important for students to double check the course eligibility and admission requirements before applying to LPUTBS as they could vary from one course to another. LPU adopts a proper admission procedure and has scholarship schemes and admission through LPUNEST is followed for admission to various programmes.

The better side about following this pathway is that mos

If it's between LPU, GLA, and Galgotias for an MBA, I'd lean toward LPU.

Why? It generally offers stronger industry exposure, more MBA specializations, a bigger recruiter network, and an active campus with lots of business events and internships. GLA is a decent option, especially for North India, while Galgotias is good too, but LPU usually has the edge for overall exposure and placements.

Yes, LPU is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2 (f) of the UGC Act, 1956. The university was established through an Act of the Punjab Legislature and its degrees are recognised within the UGC framework. It has also received UGC Category-I Graded Autonomy status. This gives a clear indication that the university operates under the recognised higher education system in India.

For CSE, I'd personally choose Thapar. Engineering reputation, peer group and placement opportunities are generally stronger. LPU is good too, especially if fees/scholarship is a major factor, but if budget isn't an issue, Thapar would be my pick.

In the Integrated B.Plan–M.Plan at LPU, students get exposure to useful planning and GIS tools that are important in the field. These include GIS software such as ArcGIS, along with AutoCAD and Revit for mapping, design and planning work.

Students also learn about GIS mapping, spatial data analysis, digital mapping and visualization, which can be useful for urban and regional planning projects.

So, if you're looking for a planning course where you can learn both planning concepts and practical digital tools, LPU is one of the best choices to consider.

Yes, it can definitely be worth it if you're clear about going into management. The Integrated BBA + MBA at LPU gives you a continuous path from undergraduate to postgraduate study, with exposure to internships, industry interaction and different management specialisations. If you're interested in areas like marketing, finance, HR or business analytics, it's a decent option to consider.

Yes, a good CSE student at Lovely Professional University (LPU) can certainly target and secure a placement above ₹10 LPA. However, ₹10 LPA should not be considered a guaranteed package for every CSE student because placement outcomes depend on technical skills, academic performance, internships, projects, coding ability, communication skills and performance in recruitment tests and interviews. LPU's recent placement data shows that opportunities above ₹10 LPA are achievable. According to LPU, more than 2,000 students secured packages between ₹10 lakh and ₹60 lakh during the 2025–26 placement season, while the top 10%

Lovely Professional University (LPU) offers B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) as a 4-year undergraduate programme. However, LPU's current 2026 official B.Tech. CSE programme page does not publicly specify a fixed number of seats or an annual intake for the programme. Therefore, it would not be accurate to state a particular number as the official seat capacity. LPU offers the regular B.Tech. CSE programme along with several specialised CSE programmes, including areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Software Product Engineering, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Gen
