A NATA score of 120 can be useful for B.Arch admission, but scholarship eligibility depends on the university's current scholarship rules and the criteria they use.

If you're considering LPU, don't assume that a NATA score alone will automatically get you a scholarship. Check whether your NATA score, Class 12 marks and other eligibility criteria qualify you for any scholarship or fee benefit.

It's also worth comparing the total fee, scholarship amount, architecture facilities, practical exposure and placement support before deciding. Sometimes a slightly different scholarship structure can make a big difference to the overall cost.

So with 120 in NATA, I'd definitely check LPU's current scholarship criteria directly rather than relying on a fixed percentage mentioned online.

If I were deciding between LPU and Chandigarh University for MBA, I'd personally lean towards LPU, particularly if the overall fee and scholarship are comparable. LPU has a broad MBA ecosystem with specialised options, industry-linked programmes, internships and a large placement network. Current MBA figures show ₹49.4 Lacs the highest package and ₹13.6 Lacs average package for the top 10%, with 450+ recruiters. I wouldn't choose an MBA solely on the highest package, though. Your specialisation, internship, communication, aptitude and work experience can make a huge difference. If I wanted a broad MBA with many specialisation choices, LPU would be my preference.

LPU's MBA is quite broad and gives students the option to specialise according to their career interests. You can explore areas like Finance, Marketing, HR, Business Analytics, Fintech, Digital Marketing, International Business and Supply Chain. There are also industry-linked programmes, which I find useful because they connect classroom learning with practical business problems. Placement-wise, the current MBA figures include a ₹49.4 Lacs the highest package, ₹13.6 Lacs average for the top 10% and 450+ recruiters. For me, the biggest advantage is the variety of specialisations and industry exposure available under one MBA ecosystem.

This comparison depends a lot on the branch and your admission options. BHU has the advantage of being a highly established public institution with a strong academic reputation, so I wouldn't choose LPU automatically if you have a good B.Tech branch at BHU. However, if you're specifically comparing LPU CSE with a less preferred branch at BHU, I'd personally consider LPU CSE because it directly aligns with software, AI/ML, data Science and technology careers. LPU also provides extensive industry exposure, internships, hackathons and placement opportunities. For me, branch + career goal would matter more than simply choosing a university name.

For engineering, both are good options, but the better choice depends on the branch and career goal. LPU has a wider engineering portfolio, with industry input in curriculum, project-based learning, practical exposure and opportunities to work on live projects. Its industry interface also includes collaborations with companies and industry-led activities. UPES Dehradun is also a strong option, especially for students interested in specialised areas such as petroleum, energy and emerging engineering fields. So, for broader engineering choices and a mix of academics, industry exposure and career preparation, LPU can be considered a better overall option.
