The minimum marks that will make one eligible for MA is 45%. However JNU conducts an entrance exam to restrict intake to authorised levels as well as to ensure that students with required skills only get admitted. Almost all open universities have two admission cycles in a calendar year. TNOU also follows similar pattern. Here Application form + brochure is available online. One needs to download it and can submit it online or take a print and follow procedure given in brochure.

Normally, in majority of universities and colleges admissions into M.A. Economics is based on marks obtained at graduation. If you can provide your intended college or university then perhaps detailed information could be provided.
