MA in film, television and new media production empower the students in the production & managerial aspects of the media business with due emphasis on the latest production techniques, along with marketing and branding management of various media products and associated services. Job descriptions include content writer, producer, director, cinematographer, editor, and art director, as well as many other roles critical to the information and entertainment media industry. Employment opportunities can be found preparing content for local and national news or sports programming, serial television programming, commercials, music videos, and the Internet. Graduation:
Candidate should have obtained a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences and Humanities under 10+2+3 pattern of education with at least 50% marks.
Or,
Candidate should have obtained a Bachelor's degree in Science & Technology disciplines under 10+2+3 pattern of education with at least 55% marks.
Admission Process:
Entrance Test.
Eligible candidates need to appear for the Entrance Test conducted by the University.
Merit Screening:
Admission is based on the rank in the Entrance exam conducted by the University and Deprivation points awarded, if applicable.
Separate merit lists are prepared for each category i.e. candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, PH categories.
