Venkateshwara Open University is one of the biggest education fraud in Indian education system. Only state government are authorised to start an Open University and Venkateshwara is a private university and it is surprised to know how they managed to get word open before it. As per the UGC DEB guideline, a private university cannot offer any course outside its campus and all the exams have to be conducted in the campus only. Hence, the degree offered by Venkateshwara Open University is invalid. Further, being a very poor university with no ranking, I doubt it will be able to help you even in getting a job.

There is no problem with you pursuing B.Com and MBA after that. You can definitely proceed with the same, but it will be a little difficult for you to catch up as compared to the Commerce students. But, since you seem interested in the course you might catch up fast, if you put in a little bit of extra effort.

There are specialisations such as Finance, HR, Marketing in MBA and to choose a specialisation among these is completely your decision as what interests you or in which subject you hold a stronger foundation. Suppose if you had an accounts/finance background then you have a higher chance of finding finance specialisation easy and vice-versa.

Hello Raj,
It's actually the matter of your priorities. Your passion. Your interests. Surely, if you are to work as a teacher then not only MA but Ph.D is also required. For getting a job in other fields it may not be useful.
