There are specialisations such as Finance, HR, Marketing in MBA and to choose a specialisation among these is completely your decision as what interests you or in which subject you hold a stronger foundation. Suppose if you had an accounts/finance background then you have a higher chance of finding finance specialisation easy and vice-versa.

It's actually the matter of your priorities. Your passion. Your interests. Surely, if you are to work as a teacher then not only MA but Ph.D is also required. For getting a job in other fields it may not be useful.

General MA would give you access to all the aspects of the business world like finance, marketing, etc. If you want to have scope of going into a different field than Pharmacy then go for General MA, but if you want to excel in Pharmacy, you must go for Pharma MA as this will help you grow in the Pharma Industry.
