MA in English, Literature, Linguistics.
These are all quite confusing, MA in English and MA Literature are all about mixed subjects like English Grammar, World and Indian Literature from 15th to modern century.
Linguistics deals with the Grammar part and depths of any language.

Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master's degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science &Applications, Electronic Science etc are eligible for NET Test. You can seek provisional admission in MA in a majority of universities but you have to clear your backlogs or arrears before cut-off date announced by universities. If you do not complete backlog or arrears before the cut-off, your admission may be canceled.

Yes, you can take admission in the PG courses of your choice provided you meet the eligibility guidelines of the University you may seek admission in. For UG and PG courses in mass communication, journalism, etc. you can also choose to study in RK Films and Media Academy, Delhi.
