You have to start your PG from the beginning there is no option to start PG after 5 years.

As per UGC guidelines, the subject in Ph.D. can only be the major subject in your post graduation. And M.Com doesn't have Astrophysics in its course curriculum at all, let alone the major subject. I hope I am clear. DVD.

If you pick finance then the scope will be in BFSI sector on the other hand if you take HR as major then you can go into the admin and recruitment types of job. So, basically it depends on which track you want to SEE yourself after 2 years of course. All the best.
