The Candidates who have passed M.Phil in the regular mode is exempted from LPU NEST for admission to Ph.D. But you will have to appear for the interview provided you meet the eligibility criteria. One can appear in the LPU NEST to avail scholarship. The scholarship provided on the basis of the LPU NEST score will be applicable throughout the course duration. The admissions for 2023 are open:

To enroll for admission in IGNOU the applicant must submit the application form available on the official website of the university However it must be noted that the application forms are available on certain dates before the session commences Follow the belowmentioned steps on how to fill IGNOU application form
Step 1 Visit the official website of the university in order to obtain the application form
Step 2 On visiting the website the candidate will have to click on the Admission Link
Step 3 The candidate will have to enter their respective email IDs and password After registering the candidate can log in
Step 4 On logging in the candidate will have to click on the Apply Now link On doing so the candidate can then fill the application form
Step 5 One must crosscheck the details entered in the form
Step 6 The candidate can proceed to pay the application fee ie INR 1000
IGNOU M.Phil Admission Process
The selection is done on the basis of the entrance test which will be followed by an interview The final selection will be selected on the basis of respective performances in the written test and will be called for the interview round The admission will be done on the basis of the following criteria
Selection will be made strictly on the basis of performance in the Entrance Test and Interview The weightage given to the entrance test is 70 whereas 30 consists of performance in the Interview
Students who secure 50 marks in the Entrance Test 45 for SCSTOBCPH will be shortlisted for the interview
During the interview a 40 weightage is given to Research Aptitude 40 to Subject Knowledge and 20 to hisher communication skills

The entrance test will be conducted by the university at the National level in select examination centres across the country
The list of eligible candidates will be displayed on the official website of the university No separate communication shall be sent to the candidates
The students can download the hall ticket from the IGNOU website Applicants have to bring an original identity proof having photograph such as Aadhar Card Voter ID Card Driving License Passport and ID card at the examination center
Students must score minimum 50 marks in the entrance test to qualify the exam
