The SV University NIRF report for 2023 has provided some statistics regarding the SV University PG 2-year placements in 2022. According to the report, a total of 2,363 students had participated in the placement drive, out of which 518 students were successfully placed. This indicates a placement rate of around 22%, which is a significant achievement for the university. Moreover, the report also reveals that the university had a successful placement drive in the previous years as well. In the 2021 placement drive, 420 out of 1,995 students were placed, while in the 2020 placement drive, 444 out of 1,950 students were placed.

Yes, it seems Central University of Kerala does try to help M.Sc. Geology students with placements. They have a placement cell that works across departments and even a specific placement person for the Geology department.While exact numbers for Geology placements aren't always easy to find, the university does place postgraduate students in general.
