COER University offers MTech in Computer Science and Engineering and MTech in Mechanical Engineering via College of Engineering Roorkee. For admission to these courses, the institute accepts GATE scores. Those who do not have a valid GATE score can appear for the college level entrance test. However, students must also note that the first preference is given to students who have qualified the GATE exam.

The COER University MTech eligibility criteria differs based on the specialisation. Listed below are the eligibility requirements to be fulfilled for each MTech course:
Computer Science & Engineering: Candidates must have a graduate degree in BE/BTech with minimum 55% (general) or 50% (SC/ST)

Aspirants who have passed a bachelor's Degree or equivalent in the relevant field with at least 50% aggregate can apply for the MTech programme at Madhyanchal Professional University. There is a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate for SC, ST and OBC candidates. Such aspirants are required to secure a minimum of 45% aggregate in their graduation. To get into MTech at IIT Jammu, aspirants must fulfil the prescribed eligibility requirements. First you have to clear your 10+2 with the 50% marks in compulsory subject in required. After you have to pass the University entrance exam like GLAET or GATE or CUET-PG with good score. And you have to pass both the 10+2 and entrance exam with very good marks to fulfill the criteria.
