M.Tech Eligibility

For admission to M.Tech programme at CMR Technical Campus (Autonomous Engineering College), candidates must fulfill the following eligibility & selection criteria conditions:

GHRCEM Nagpur selects candidates for M.Tech programme based on GATE scores. Besides, candidates must also complete BTech with at least 50% aggregate for M.Tech admission. Aspirants selected based on GATE rank are offered seat in the college via CAP. Once selected, candidates need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the college.

Those looking to get into M.Tech at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University must ensure that they fulfil the preset admission criteria of the course. The university accepts applicants on an entrance basis. Students need to complete graduation in the relevant field from a recognised university. Further, providing valid score obtained in any of the state or national-level entrance test is also required. The university selects candidates based on GATE/ TS-PGECET/ Andhra Pradesh PGECET/ TS EAMCET/ Andhra Pradesh EAMCET scores.

BMS Institute of Technology and Management offers an M.Tech programme with two specialisations. These specialisations deal with different facets of Engineering. Both courses are offered for a duration of two years in full-time mode. The following is a list of all the M.Tech courses offered by the institute for students to choose from:

• MTech in Computer Science Engineering
• MTech in Cyber Security

Utkal University M.Tech admission takes place through the OJEE entrance exam. The selection criteria for admission into the university is a valid OJEE score and a valid graduation from a recognised university. Although, candidates with valid graduation degree can apply for admission into the programme, aspirants with a graduation in BE/ BTech programmes will find it easier to secure admission in the programme. Candidates can make their decision accordingly. 

Candidates who have passed BE/ BTech or equivalent degree in relevant subjects are eligible to apply for KIIT School of Mechanical Engineering M.Tech programme. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. Besides, aspirants must also have a valid GATE, OJEE or KIITEE scores for M.Tech admission.

SIT Pune admission takes place through GATE as well as its own entrance test. Candidates applying for admission in the M.Tech programme have to apply and appear for the exam and secure a valid score to be eligible for admission in the programme. If you are a non-GATE candidate, you will have to pass SIT entrance exam and personal interview round.

The eligibility criteria to pursue the MTech course at JNTUK are to complete Class 12 with a 50% aggregate with Physics and Maths as a subject. Candidates willing to be admitted to BTech at JNTUK must have valid eligibility criteria and entrance exam scores. JNTUK BTech admission is based on entrance examination i.e., EAMCET. Further, candidates must participate in the EAMCET counselling rounds for final seat allotment.
