Zakhir Hussain College of Engineering and Technology offers M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. The M.Tech is offered as a regular full-time lasting for two years. Further, Computer Science and Engineering are offered in sub-specialisations of Software Engineering,  Information Security, and Computer Networks. 

The eligibility criteria for ZHCET M.Tech CSE is BTech or its equivalent examination in the relevant branch of study with not less than 60% in aggregate or its equivalent CPI/CGPA/NAG.

Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks in all subjects. AIT offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Admission into these courses will be through entrance exams. For BE the accepted exams are CET and COMEDK, for MTech, GATE, KPGCET and for MBA, MAT and KMAT.

To be eligible for IARE institute you need to complete your intermediate or 10+2 with physics, chemistry and maths with a minimum of 45% marks. 70% of the students are taken through EAMCET exam and 30% of the students are taken through management quota which will cost you more.

The eligibility criteria to get admissions into the M.Tech course at SMIT Sikkim Manipal University differ according to the specialisation. For some of the M.Tech specialisations, the institute grants the admissions on the basis of merit, and for others, the institute accepts the scores of GATE and the Manipal University Entrance Test. However, the basic eligibility criteria that are similar for all offered M.Tech specialisation are that candidates must complete their BE/BTech degree in a related field and must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% to 55% and 45% for reserved category candidates.

For admission in a M.Tech programme at Mohamed Sathak Engineering College it is crucial that the aspirant fulfills the course-specific eligibility criteria. Thus, only the aspirants who have passed BTech are eligible for admission. In addition, student should have passed the qualifying examination from a recognised board. Candidate must also hold the BTech mark sheet during application form filling and at the time of admission for verification purposes.

The M.Tech programme requires a bachelor's degree in engineering such as B.Tech or BE so direct admission after finishing 12th class is not possible. The M.Tech programme becomes available to students whose undergraduate engineering studies successfully finished with either B.Tech or BE qualifications amounting to four years of study. For getting admission to M.Tech courses in India, almost all of the top colleges ask you to give relevant entrance tests and get excellent marks in the same as the cutoffs are quite high for an M Tech degree. The GATE exam is the most prominent exam that takes place every year for admission to M.Tech courses. You need to meet the minimum eligibility requirements of getting at least 55% marks in graduation in any relevant engineering specialization.

Talking about the IITs in India, they do offer an exception to IIT graduates who can apply for direct MTech admission if they have secured 8 CGPA or 75% marks in their BTech degree.

NIPER (SAS Nagar) Mohali is one of the 7 NIPERs in India. The eligibility criteria for all 7 NIPERs are the same. The NIPER Mohali M.Tech programme is offered in three specialisations.
