To be eligible for the M.Tech programme at IIT BHU the aspiring candidates need to have a minimum of 60% in BTech. Aspirants with a score equal to or more than the cutoff also have to go through a counselling round. Once selected, aspirants have to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the institute.

Here are the selection criteria at the Division of Mechanical Sciences, Indian Institute of Science for M.E./M.Tech course:

  • You should have a valid B.E/B.Tech degree with minimum 45% marks.
  • You should have a valid GATE Score card. 
  • Based on GATE Score, you will get the admission.

Candidates need to have graduated with a minimum of 50% aggregate from any recognised university in order to be eligible for the MTech programme at Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University. Admission will be based on the scores obtained in the accepted entrance tests. The university accepts UKSEE or GATE scores for its MTech programmes. Candidates who are shortlisted will need to provide the selection committee with relevant documents to prove eligibility.

To apply to the M.Tech course at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, applicants must be Indian nationals with a Bachelor's in Engineering/Technology degree from an AICTE institution. Aspirants who have completed BE/ BTech with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST and Category I) are eligible to apply for M.Tech programme at B.N.M Institute of Technology. Besides, aspirants must also hold a valid score in Karnataka PGCET for admission to the course. Applicants for M.Tech admission in Velammal Institute of Technology should have a B.E./B.Tech degree in the respective field. At least 50% aggregate for general category and 45% for reserved category students is mandatory. They should also pass CEETA PG or GATE.

The eligibility criteria for Amrita School of Engineering Bengaluru M.Tech CSE is to secure a minimum 60% or CGPA 6.0 in B.E. / B.Tech. / M.Sc. in Engineering or Sciences discipline. The degree should be of relevance to the opted M.Tech. programme.  Further, candidates will be admitted based on the GATE score and Non-GATE qualified students will be admitted based on academic records and performance in interview.
