M.Tech Eligibility

The admission process for Amity University Gwalior M.Tech begins with the eligibility check. As per official sources, the eligibility criteria for each M.Tech specialisation differ. Listed below is the course-wise eligibility criteria:

• MTech Civil/Structure Engineering: Completed BE/BTech in Civil
• MTech Computer Science and Engineering: Passed M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering
• MTech Computer Science and Engineering: Completed BTech (ECE)/MSc (Electronics/Physics)
• Mechanical Engineering: Passed BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering

Generally, for admission to M.Tech programs at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), the eligibility criteria require the candidates to hold at least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant area from a recognised university along with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA. Then the candidate must qualify the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) exam for admission. For candidates without a GATE score, a SMVDU entrance exam can be considered.

AKGEC Ghaziabad offers M.Tech course admission in two ways: direct or through counselling. In either case, it is necessary that the aspirants fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements. Candidates can apply on the counselling portal of AKTU to get a seat through counselling. For direct admission, candidates can directly contact the admission office and submit application to apply.

GMR Institute of Technology offers a two-year MTech course at the PG level. As per the minimum eligibility requirements of the course, candidates must pass a UG degree in the relevant discipline. Additionaly, candidates are required to apply and appear for Andhra Pradesh PGECET and GATE entrance exam for admission.

The basic eligibility required for the M.Tech programme offered at College of Engineering Trivandrum is to pass BTech degree in the relevant field from a recognised university. In case of candidates who have an Undergraduate Degree in Engineering from foreign universities, candidate should produce an eligibility certificate from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. Interested students who meet the eligibility can apply for the programme by visiting the official website of the college and obtaining the form available.

At Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, students can pursue a wide range of M.Tech and ME programmes. These courses are offered via various affiliated colleges of the university. The basic eligibility is to pass graduation in the relevant field with a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognised university. Furthermore, as admissions are entrance-based, students must provide a valid score of accepted exams (GATE/ MHTCET MTech) to be eligible for admission. Interested students can visit the official website of the university to know about the programme of choice.

Aspirants need to pass a bachelor's degree in relevant field with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for persons with disability) to apply for KJ Somaiya School of Engineering M.Tech course. Besides, aspirants must also pass GATE or PERA CET for admission to M.Tech programme.

For admission to 1st year M.Tech at NMAM Institute of Technology, the candidate should have completed BE or BTech in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
