M.Tech Eligibility

The minimum eligibility requirement for M.Tech at SJB Institute of Technology (SJBIT) is a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (B.E./B.Tech) in a relevant discipline from a recognised university. Candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). Additionally, candidates should qualify in the Karnataka PGCET (Post Graduate Common Entrance Test) or have a valid GATE score. M.Tech is PG ( post graduation) level education, student must have atleast 60% or more than 60% marks in their graduation. The fee structure is around INR 12,000 and duration of M.Tech course is 2 year. During M.Tech they offer internships and placements. . 

Candidates who have minimum 50% aggregate in graduation, and a valid score in PGECET/ GATE exam, can apply for M.Tech admission at GIET Engineering College.  MTech course is available in four specialisations which are Structural Engineering, Computer Science, Power Systems, CAD / CAM.

No, you are not eligible to pursue an Integrated M.Tech course at VIT Vellore if you have completed your 12th from NIOS. The eligibility criteria clearly states that candidates who have studied in Regular, Full time and Formal Education are alone eligible to apply for the Integrated M.Tech programmes. Applicants from Open University / Correspondence mode are not eligible.

Puran Murti Campus offers a two-year full-time M.Tech course at the PG level. As per the minimum eligibility requirements of the course, candidates must pass a UG degree in the relevant discipline.

The basic eligibility to enroll in M.Tech programme at Inderprastha Engineering College is to pass BTech or MCA programme. The selection for the programme is done on the basis of score obtained by the candidate in GATE.

Applicants to the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology's M.Tech programme must have passed the GATE exams. Candidates must also meet the eligibility requirements, which are to have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with an aggregate of 60% for General/EWS & OBC and 55% for SC/ST & PwD. Candidates that meet the requirements must finish the IIST admissions process and secure their seats.
