I don't think so because of these reasons :-
1. Poor architecture of college, improper laboratories, even washrooms are not proper.
2. Lack of qualified faculty.
3. Zero placements. And if you get a placement in a pool campus on your own, the respective faculty responsible for Placements will bugger you to death if you don't give the placement offer letter to them so that they can show off about it in newspapers.
4. No student body to listen to issues faced by students day by day.
5. Books provided to the students per semester are not up to date. So after getting the same books over and over again, students had to purchase books

2. Actually, this field is the mother of every other field. Just imagine the world without metals and non-metals. It's unimaginable. Modernization of the human race started due to discovery in this field. The big machines (mechanical), automobiles, chemical engineering, etc.

May be the admission in these years will be easy but I can assure you if you can successfully complete the course with decent marks, you will surely be getting a job of an average lpa of 15 lakh and as well as PhD in Indian Institutes as well as universities in the USA.
RC Bose faculties at ISI have good connections in abroad so placements and PhD options wont be a problem
