Scope is ample. With a textile technology degree you can look for jobs as a Textile technologist, Fashion designer, Textile designer, Interior and spatial designer etc.

Not necessary, you must have the profile to get into the likes of Stanford. Ofcourse IIT, BIT etc are institutes of repute and preferred, having said that if an applicant from one of the top institutes lacks in quality profile he or she will have a tough time during admissions.

If you have done textile engineering then PG from NIFT will be a better optiin because NIFT is related to designing. M.tech through GATE also have options for pursuing course related to designing but. there are very few colleges and courses available in this case. Hence go for NIFT.
