As of February 2024, Amal Jyothi College of Engineering (AJCE) in Kottayam, Kerala doesn't publish cutoff information for M.Tech admissions based on entrance exam scores. Instead, candidates should have studied a graduate course at an institution approved by the AICTE or deemed universities, and have scored at least 60% in their engineering degree examination. SC/ST candidates only need to pass their engineering degree courseB.TechIn 2023, the overall cutoff for KEAM was 19,338–36,774 rank. For the B.Tech Chemical Engineering course, the closing home state rank was 48,939, for B.Tech Civil Engineering, 58,737, for B.Tech Compute

The Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati (IIIT Guwahati) offerd two years M.Tech programme under multiple sprcialisations, including Computer Science & Engineering. The BTech CSE eligibility criteria is as follows:
- Candidates with BE/BTech degree in Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology / equivalent programme.
- Candidates with MSc (Computer Science/Information Technology)
- Graduates (AMIETE) from the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) in Computer Science and Engineering

While official figures for 2024 aren't available yet, based on past trends, M.Tech students at Central University of Haryana can expect an average placement package in the range of INR 3- INR 4 Lacs per annum (LPA). Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology is a private engineering college affiliated to the University of Mumbai. This year, RGIPT climbed 103 ranks to rank '79' in the NIRF.
The labs are good and lab assistants are helpful. The department is overall strict (You cannot use cellphone on the floor, you've to wear college ID card and cannot sit in the balcony, etc.) The college is pretty decent and staff is good. The placements have improved over the years.
