Hello Ankit Kumar, GATE is not necessarily required for M.Tech admissions in India. If you don't have GATE scores, you can aim to apply for M.Tech courses in private academic institutions in the country or seek study abroad opportunities as well. You can pursue M.Tech without GATE exam. You can opt for sponsored seats available in IITs, IISCs, and NITs to appear for specific M.Tech entrance exams at private institutes or pursue an MS degree abroad which will require you to submit GRE as well as language proficiency scores as part of the admission process.

Yes, you can pursue MTech without GATE exam. The minimum rank required for Integrated M.Tech in any branch at VIT Vellore campus is not fixed and varies every year based on the number of applicants and their scores. However, according to a few sources, a rank of around 3471 or 6722 may be required to get an Integrated M.Tech seat in VIT Vellore campus under category 1 in software engineering. The combined marks in all of the topics taken in a +2 (or its equivalent) should be 55 percent in PCM.

The eligibility criteria for M.Tech admissions is that candidate should have passed B.Tech with a minimum of 50% aggregate. The duration of the course is from two to three years. Moreover, the entrance exams accepted include TANCET, GATE, and SRMJEEE (PG). Additionally, the fees for SRM Ramapuram M.Tech course range between INR 1.8 Lacs - INR 2.1 Lacs.

Yes, IIT Palakkad offers a two-year MTech programme in six specialisations. These specialisations are Geotechnical Engineering and Manufacturing, Materials Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Manufacturing and Materials Engineering, Computing and Mathematics, Data Science, Power Electronics and Power Systems and System-on-Chip Design. To be eligible for the MTech programme at IIT Palakkad candidates need graduation with 60%. The selection of the candidates who are eligible for the MTech programme happens through GATE and COAP Counselling.

The total tuition fee of MTech at IIT Palakkad is INR 10000 for entire two years although there are other components that might be added to total tuition fee at time of admission. The total fee is calculated based on annual/ semester fee available for academic year 2023-24 hence is indicative.
