It is very nice to see that you are interested in doing your PG from Jadavpur University. It's very well-known institute of WB. However admissions normally are effected only based on eligibility which is GATE for all students including quota students. After completing M.Sc. In Physics, you may be eligible to apply for M.Tech after clearing an entrance exam, i.e. GATE.

It is very nice to see that you have brought up the most important thing. These days job prospects for aeronautical engineering graduates in India is increasing but still very disappointing. Majority of graduates end up doing MBA or going abroad for want of placements. Best would be if you can think of doing AME. It has huge potential for placements. Also it will give you space to be linked with aero planes. Best wishes to you.

BE/ B.Tech or equivalent degree with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. Some of the very reputed institutes conduct entrance examination for admission to the degree course.
