Admissions in institutes abroad depends to a great extent on your past academic performance. There are many Institutions abroad across many countries. I would advise you to go to the specialist agency dealing with sending students abroad.

You have got really good marks in M.Tech. Congratulations. I feel the best course of action is to take admission for research in one if the Canadian colleges and then look for job. Then only you can get opportunities to settle in Canada.

GATE is fundamentally an entrance exam for admission to PG courses of IIT or NIT. Of course, other colleges also have adopted it. But if big data is considered as e&c then only. You better check with VIT directly.

I am very happy to read your query. The admissions to CGFI's are through JEE Mains. Unfortunately it has been already announced that pattern this year would be different than last year's. Hence any data is not useful. However, I feel if you can score about 60 percentile, you would get admission.

If you have appeared in GATE in a particular subject, it's valid only for that. Based on this, you cannot get admission in any other branch.
