Preparation can be three types: Self, Self plus coaching, Coaching,
It depends on whether you are working or a student. So, if you are working you have to prepare either by self-using the correspondence booklets or you can take option of taking weekend coaching classes or you can buy some famous books used for preparation of MBA entrance exams. But if you are a student then you have good amount of time to prepare so you can use the correspondence courses and books initially for self-preparation and later can join coaching classes for brushing up your preparation with added techniques. So, any MBA entrance exam have generally three sections-Quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning and data interpretation and Verbal reasoning along with study of general current affairs. So, depending upon your strengths, weakness and speed prepare the three sections accordingly and nail the exam.

You need to score really high in MAH-CET to get into top colleges.
Candidate should stay focused right from the day one. Three months time is a tight time and preparation needs to fit in very tactfully.
You can divide the time into two parts:
Phase-1 you can start covering the syllabus and cover different methods, tips and tricks to solve variety of problems. Try to finish the syllabus in initial seven to eight months and keep the rest for revision.
Phase-2 is when you start your revision part. Try solving mocks paper as much as possible this will lead to more accuracy as you learn from your mistakes.
Be focused and calm. For the last two weeks keep all the formulas and tricks handy and revise on a daily basis.
You may also consider joining any crash course coaching which will give you a discipline to study regularly.
Remember not to be emotional while solving or appearing for exam. Manage your time wisely.

I would add to the previous answer Career Launcher/TIME are the most dignified coaching institutions when it comes to CAT/ CMAT/GMAT. Since TIME is more in number in Maharashtra, you can take an admission in it.
TIME offers two types of course method:
It is basically full course or a crash course or both.
When there is a comparison done between both, it seems that TIME does not follow any fixed curriculum. Whereas, Career Launcher has its books published.
Either way, both have a strong study material.
Both institutions have flexibility in their timings but Career Launcher seems to have a personal touch.
The lectures usually are conducted on weekends in both the institutions.
If you want to have my personal suggestion then I would choose Career Launcher it is more pocket-friendly and will give you great attention.
Great support is offered by both regarding the examination and the rules which have to be followed.
