All postgraduate medical and dental courses, including Diploma courses are offered through the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling. The list of courses are given below:
- Master of Surgery (MS)
- Doctor of Medicine (MD)
- Master of Dental Surgery

As per the last year's data, there were as many as 4,784 MD, MS, and PG Diploma seats across medical and dental colleges in Maharashtra. The course-wise segregation of seats will be available once the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra releases the seat matrix for the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling.

Yes, Maharashtra NEET PG candidates will have to visit the allotted institute with the requisite documents and admission fee. The institutes' admission authorities will verify the documents and once candidates pay the admission fee, the admission offer will be confirmed. In case candidates wish to upgrade their seats or do not wish to join the institute need not report to the institute.

No, the registration window for Maharashtra NEET PG counselling opens only before the first round of counselling. Candidates who would not register for the first round of counselling will not be able to participate in the second round. However, last year, registration opportunity was given to candidates for Round 3. Candidates must note that this was the process followed last year. This year, the process may change and candidates may be given an opportunity to register separately for each round of Maharashtra NEET PG counselling.

The registration fee for Maharashtra NEET PG counselling 2024 was INR 3,000, irrespective of the category/caste of the applicant. The registration fee amount will be updated here in case there is a change in the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling 2025. The application fee has to be paid in online mode, via Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking.

The Maharashtra NEET PG counselling is conducted online. The registration and choice filling processes have to be conducted online. CET Cell Maharashtra will release the seat matrix and the merit list online, on the official website of Maharashtra NEET PG counselling. However, the final round or the institute reporting and document verification has to be done by physically visiting the institute.

For the Home state quota, Government Medical College Nagpur offers MD/ MS courses through Maharashtra NEET PG scores followed by the round-wise Counselling. The closing rank for GMC Nagpur MBBS cutoff 2023 for MD in Radio Diagnosis stood closed at 20, in 2022 it closed at 50 and in 2021 it closed at 69 for the General category students.
