There are many PGs and hostels available near the college. Also VIT Pune has their own College hostel which is around 2kms from the college. One can easily find accommodation with a little search and posters are printed of various hostels near the college campus.

Yes, there are other criteria for students whose domicile is not Haryana. According to the NIT Kurukshetra website, 50% of the seats are reserved for candidates who belong to Haryana state. The remaining 50% seats are filled through the All India Quota (AIQ) which is based on the JEE Main scores.
