Yes, work experience is mandatory for admission to the Executive MBA programme at SPJIMR Mumbai. For admission to the PGEMP, a minimum work experience of five years after a Bachelor's degree is required. Diploma holders with a ten-year of experience can also apply for admission to the postgraduate course offered by the SP Jain Institute of Management and Research. In general the admission to MBA is based on CAT scores. Do go through the CAT exam pattern, study CAT preparation stratergy and CAT syllabus.

YCMOU has now started to adapt to the digital world and has initiated its plan to reach out to the new generation of students. The plan is to put YCMOU study material online to deal with the shortage of hard copies and to facilitate ease of use. Yashwantrao Chavan Open University consists of around seven regional centres located in Aurangabad, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, Pune, Kolhapur and Nanded. The purpose of a regional centre is simply for administration work. All the students cannot go to the main YCMOU campus for everything. Hence, regional centres have been set up all over Maharashtra to conduct offline admissions and query resolving among others.

Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University or YCMOU is one of the best open universities not only of Maharashtra but also in India. The infrastructure of university is good and is built in such a way so as to support the easy learning of the students.At present, the university offers more than 50 UG, PG, doctorate, Diploma and Certificate programmes across multiple streams (in the distance education mode). Yes, Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University was established in 1989 and is approved by UGC (University Grants Commission). The university is a member of the AIU (Association of Indian Universities), ACU, AAOU, ICDE, and is accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with an A Grade. YCMOU Nashik, through eight schools of study, offers undergraduate, postgraduate, Certificate and various other courses to students that are approved by UGC (University Grants Commission).

As of now, there is no information regarding B.Sc in Nautical Science. Keep visiting the official website for the latest updates. However, at the undergraduate level, YCMOU offers a three-year B.Sc. Courses in the field of Science. The University, used to offer B.Sc. (Biotechnology/ Actuarial Science) courses which is now withdrawn by it. YCMOU admission to B.Sc courses is based on merit scores at the undergraduate level.

The Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University has discontinued its Certificate Programme in Human Rights from April . However, a candidate can check the other certificate courses offered by the university that can be done after completing BA from Maharashtra or any other state.
