Yes, candidates can receive refunds for cancelling their BDes admission at NMIMS University, Mumbai.

In such instances, candidates will be offered refunds based on UGC norms which mean candidates can only receive refunds for admission cancellation within 30 days of course commencement. A percentage of fees paid will be refunded which is based on how early a candidate chooes to cancel their admission.

VNIT Nagpur is usually considered a Tier 1 college or a high-end Tier 2 college. The "Tier 1" tag is usually held by IITs and top NITs, like NIT Trichy and Rourkela. However, as per NIRF 2025, VNIT Nagpur is one of the top 10 NITs and top 50 engineering colleges in India. The competitive screening process (JoSAA/ CCMN/ CCMT) ensures an elite peer group, and recruiters like Google, Oracle, and Goldman Sachs testify to the academic excellence of the institute.

Yes, Pune has several good private engineering colleges that accept MHT CET scores even if your JEE rank is not very high. Colleges like Symbiosis Institute of Technology and MIT-WPU are popular choices. Admissions are mostly based on state-level entrance exams. So a low JEE score does not mean you have to compromise on quality.

No, JEE Main is not compulsory to get admission in University of Mumbai. Candidates wishing to get admission in BTech at Mumbai University should have passed Class 12 (PCM) with at least 45% marks. The majority of seats in Mumbai University are filled through the MHT CET exam. However, JEE Main is also accepted.
