After the completion of application process for NEET UG/PG, students must attempt the exam. when the results are released for the same, BVDCH, Navi Mumbai will release merit lists on the basis of each candidates NEET UG/PG scores for each course on the official portal . Shortlisted candidates are invited for admission and must pay the annual course fee to confirm their seat in the course.

BVDCH, Navi Mumbai offers MDS programme for students who are eligible for the same. The common eligibility is a BDS degree from any Dental council of India recognised college/university along with Completion of one year internship. Additionally, candidate must be permanently registered with State Dental Council/Dental Council of India. Following specialisations are offered under MDS at BVDCH, Navi Mumbai:

• M.D.S. (Periodontology)
• M.D.S. (Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics)
• M.D.S. (Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics)
• M.D.S. (Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry)

For BDS, a minimum of 40% (SC/ST) or 50% (General) is required in NEET UG to be eligible for admission to BVDCH, Navi Mumbai on the basis of merit. Additionally, Candidate must secure 40% (SC/ST) or 50% (General) of aggregate marks in Class 12 and pass Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually.  The selection criteria for BDS admission at BVDCH, Navi Mumbai is merit based.

To confirm admission at BVDCH, Navi Mumbai, shortlisted students must pay the cumulative required annual course fee, one-time payment of college security and the hostel fee (if applicable). Hereafter, the applicant's admission is confirmed and the student receives his/her ID Card and welcome documents.

At BVDCH, Navi Mumbai, for courses offered under undergraduation and postgraduation, personal interviews are not a part of the admission process. The admission process is merit based with the college accepting NEET UG and NEET PG scores for UG and PG respectively.

BVDCH, Navi Mumbai follows a semester system based academic year. Odd and even semesters line each year of every programme, with semesters for most programs starting from July- August every year.
