Hello,
Both institutes are pioneers in business studies. With very good placements, campus selections, good quality teaching and an amazing atmosphere. But if I had to choose between the 2, I would definitely choose MIT Pune. It provides better education and amenities and atmosphere.

For this, you have to give Maharashtra Polytechnic entrance test. You can directly take admission in private colleges but for government colleges, it's mandatory to give the test.

Both are good. Your 1st preference should be DY Patil, Akurdi and 2nd is Amity-Mumbai. If you are getting one of them, take it. They both are good in terms of facilities, faculty, placements, campus, etc.

As a current student at Amity-Mumbai, I do recommend you to join Amity University. Comparing with other universities in Mumbai, the most striking difference is that our university is a private university, which is very sparse in Mumbai. This translates to better infrastructure and facilities, happy faculty members, but also a great difference in the course fee as compared to other universities. B.Tech in CSE will cost me 10 Lacs+, whereas, a BE in CSE (there are no other universities with a B.Tech) in the suburban universities would have cost me around 34 Lacs (a majority of the colleges).
