Institute - This is not a government sponsored Institute, as displayed in brochure. It is just to fool you out. Only the faculty members are Central Government Employees. The Institute is running on BE, PGDC, PDC, and T&D courses fees. Faculty - Experienced faculty is there, but they have knowledge only of 210 MW (sub critical ). Guest Faculty is awesome (MAHAGENCO Employees from Koradi, Khaperkheda TPP). Hostel - This is only the best thing in NPTI. No warden, no rules. Students can do anything the like: Cleanliness. Mess's food is an issue everywhere. No sports club. There is one sports ground. No Wi-Fi.

Dear,
Both the college are good, but in terms of placement, Cummins is reported better. Infrastructure, faculty, placement cell are good in both. One thing to remind that Cummins is exclusively Girls' college. Positive side of Co- ed system of education is not fully available here. But, you will get self-confidence, as a girl or group of girls to run your work well without the assistance of boys. Best wishes.

Firstly ascertain your priorities, Do you want to do BCA for Knowledge or just for Money or just to save Money for your future degree. Let me answer considering Knowledge as an aspect: B.Tech being a 4 year course has better chances of imparting you indepth knowledge of Computer Science (am assuming you will go for CS/IT if you do B.Tech). But then a lot depends on the college you join. As I already said better chances but no guarantee. 3 cousins of mine used my Final year project to pass their B.Tech (I think I forgot to tell I am a BCA). So the assumption that B.Tech will give you better understanding of subject is a notorious one.
