MBA colleges in Thane accept scores from CAT, MAH CET, CMAT, XAT, and ATMA. Most private colleges consider MAH CET or CMAT scores, while a few also accept CAT. After the exam, candidates go through group discussions and personal interviews before final selection. Eligibility also requires a graduation degree with at least 50% marks.

Yes, Thane has lower application fees and living costs compared to Mumbai, and you won't have to stay far away to get a job after degree. You can get internship and placements in Navi Mumbai as well as in Mumbai without a problem. Thane campuses tend to be less crowded and quieter for studying.

A few professional colleges, like management and design institutes, may have their own autonomous status. It's always good to confirm affiliation directly on the college website before applying.

Thane has very limited MBBS options compared to cities like Mumbai or Pune. Rajiv Gandhi Medical College in Kalwa is the only government MBBS college in the city, with admission based on NEET UG scores. Most other medical institutes in Thane offer paramedical or physiotherapy courses instead of MBBS. Students looking for more MBBS seats often apply to colleges in nearby Mumbai and Navi Mumbai as well.
